What is the difference between curated meal delivery and premium meal prep?
Our Curated Weekly Meal Delivery allows you to select meals from a rotating seasonal menu. Signature and Concierge Premium Meal Prep offer customized menus designed around your preferences, dietary needs, and schedule
Do I have to order every week?
No. Curated meals can be ordered as needed, or you can subscribe for automatic weekly deliveries.
What types of meals are offered?
Our rotating menu typically includes: • Entrées and bowls • Family-style meals • Seasonal salads • Breakfast or grab-and-go options Menus change regularly based on seasonal ingredients.
Can meals accommodate dietary restrictions?
Many items can accommodate dietary preferences. Clients needing extensive customization may prefer our Premium Meal Prep plans.
How much does a personal chef cost in Seattle?
Our services are based on a $95 an hour rate. Our Curated meal prep the labor cost is included in the item cost. Our Signature or Concierge levels, we have a per meal fee and for custom work its an hourly rate charge by the quarter (.25) hour at a rate of $95 an hour. Do you offer only delivery services?
We offer both delivery and in-home meal prep. Though more than 90% of our clients prefer delivery. It is less hassle, offers a wider variety of menu options cooking techniques and not having to deal with a chef in your home using your kitchen and utilities.

Ingredients & Nutrition FAQs
Where do you source your ingredients?
We prioritize fresh, high-quality ingredients, sourcing locally whenever possible and focusing on seasonal produce. We typically shop at Town & Country or PCC. That being said, we shop where you want us to shop.
Do you provide nutrition information?
Yes. Ingredient lists and nutrition information are available for many meals, and custom macro tracking is available in our premium services.
Do you accommodate food allergies?
Yes. We can accommodate many dietary restrictions and allergies, particularly through our Signature and Concierge meal prep services.
Delivery FAQs
How are meals delivered?
Meals are delivered in insulated bags to keep them fresh during transport.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
Not necessarily. Many clients provide delivery instructions so meals can be safely left at their door.
How far do you deliver?
We deliver within the greater Seattle metropolitan area. Depending on the service there are slightly different service areas. Though generally we service King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties.

Pricing depends on the service tier and number of meals ordered. Curated delivery is an online menu-based, while Signature and Concierge services offer customized meal planning.
Can I try the service before committing?
Yes. Many clients begin with Curated Weekly Meal Delivery before upgrading to one of our premium meal prep clients. All plans are hassle free, pause, skip or cancel anytime!

Lentsch Personal Chef Services provides convenient meal prep, tailored to your dietary preferences. Our meal cost is made up of four components--the cost of ingredients, a service fee, tax, and a delivery fee. Let us handle the shopping and cooking so you don't have to.

Cost of Ingredients
Simple & Transparent
We show you the cost of the ingredients and you reimburse us for the expense. Each week you will get a copy of the receipt with your invoice.

This can vary depending on a variety of factors. For example, depending on where you prefer us to shop (i.e. PCC, Town and Country vs Costco), number of meals, number of portions of each meal, and menu choice. On average the cost is about $60 per meal.

This covers the chef's time to create the menu, shop, write recipes, cooking/reheating instructions, nutritional information, packaging, labor, and overhead-related expenses like the commercial kitchen.
